Where to Submit the Application
An application should be submitted before the designated Public Information Officer (PIO) or Assistant Public Information Officer (APIO) of the concerned department or office.
The application should be submitted to the Public Information Officer of the department or office from which the information is required.
Application Fee
The prescribed application fee of ₹10 may be paid along with the application.
Accepted Modes of Payment
Court Fee Stamp, Challan, Bank Cheque or Pay Order.
⚠️ Important: If no mechanism has been provided for receiving an RTI application, if no response is received within the prescribed period of 30 days, or if the applicant considers the fee demanded to be unreasonable, a complaint may be submitted to the Information Commission in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
